THE TURTLE POND

The Turtle Pond idea was created by Fred Phillips from Wolfville, NS.  It is a 9ft Turtle Lamp with a Globe of the World on it’s back.  The pole will go to the middle of the oval pond.  Around the oval pond will be multi coloured stone shaped lights that will create the shape of a fish.  In the pond will be a carbon glass or plastic shaped Otter, Beaver and Frog on a Lily Pad that will also light up for 1.5 hours after dark.  There will be trees indigenous to the area (Maple, Birch, Cedar, Oak and Pine) with small animals in the branches that will also light up different colours with solar powered lights for 1.5 hours after dark. The path or trail around the pond would also be lit up on both sides by a solar powered chain link fence or little garden path light posts.
